And on that stressful working day, I craved for baking a cake. Just me and the cake in the kitchen for an hour or two. Measuring, mixing, baking, and the most exciting part, decorating! sounds like such a bliss.

Starting 2012

Ah ma brought me to Sematan to celebrate new year with her super big family clan.

At 12am, there were fireworks and kong ming deng lighted into the sky. We ran into the sea! Splashing salty sea water at each other! Then watched the so-many-stars on the clear sky!

So great! So happy!

A year full with many important events of my life. 

ps. I don't know exactly why I chose to come to work in Kuching. But I know I just want to do it and see how it goes.

Just that I wished I will learn to be happy again, there were events occured. 

The main cause is the lacking of a car. Therefore, I have transportation's problems to be able to turn up for shifts. When I voiced out my issues, I was told you have to settle your own problem and there are 2 choices for you - either you find a substitute or I dont care what you do (ie renting a car/ hail a cab), but you have to be here for the shifts. Ok, I know I have to solve my own problem. But hello! This is only the third week I am here no matter how much you doubt this fact. AND I didnt even know where I will be working until 17 nov when I reported myself to the jabatan kesihatan. For my part, I cant be sending a car earlier even if I already had a car from west msia because I SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW WHERE I WILL BE WORKING though I called to ask beforehand! Secondly, I am finding a car too at the moment and I do hope that there are some realisations that getting a car is not like buying a toy! Furthemore, I do work 5 days a week. It is not like I am 3 weeks here doing nothing and still cant manage to buy myself a car! And it is not my fault that the public transport of this country SUCKS!

Anyway, I have to solve the issues myself. So, I am willing to pay to my landlord so that he can temporarily send me to work for those shifts. I only asked that when I am not doing the shifts, may I change my working time to half an hour earlier so that my housemate doesn't need to wait for me for too long when going back. For this, I was told, it is not fair because you have been working 9 to 6pm for most of the time so you should continue working 9 to 6! -.-''' I simply do not understand what is the fairness about this when the other people with similar situations as me can work 8 to 5 for 4 weeks already and I only ask to be excused for a week. The most which I cant accept is, when I told my reason why I wanna change to 8.30 to 5.30 pm, I was told, you should arrange yourself the transportation again (ie. If your colleagues cannot send you, you should get a cab). Just so that you know, it is not cheap to get a cab to go back and it is not only for once but for 5 days! It is not that I am always only trying the FOC ways. I am already going to pay for the transportations for my shifts! and for your record, at the moment I am still not getting paid yet! Is it too much to ask for a little consideration?

During monday assembly, the realisation that I am back at my home country, when I was slightly touched when I finally sang Negaraku with fellow msians in my own place have disappeared. I am sorry but I did feel more welcomed in foreign country. This is the hard fact. When your gov didnt think of you, when they only did things for their own conveniences and expect that you can fix up all the issues they gave you in split seconds, there goes the patriotism.

It has been so far the worst day with many other things happened. I am getting migraine from it. 

So much for asking to be happy again huh? -.-''

However, I do appreciate and GLAD that my new friends + housemates here whom took effort to celebrate my birthday. It has been very kind of them.
